Awesome Foursome – Awesome Foursome EP [Roots Forward 2018]

Milk Dee & DJ Gizmo of Audio Two plus Mike Master & Sugar K of Kings Of Swing are otherwise known as the Awesome Foursome. The group only ever released a couple of tracks, ‘Funky Breakdown’ and the very much in-demand ‘Monster Beat’. They also featured on Nairobi’s ‘Funky Soul Makossa’.

Fast forward to 2018 and the Roots Forward label have unearthed 2 unreleased joints by the group, ‘Subway’ and ‘Big Turnout’, both of which have been included on this new EP complete with ‘Funky Breakdown’ and ‘Funky Soul Makossa (Rap)’.
